Good Brothers’ Group of Companies would like to express our heartfelt congratulations to Daw Me Me Kyaw, the Executive Director of GBS Microfinance, for marking her 15th work anniversary at GBS. May she continue her GBS journey for many more years onwards!
In the celebration of her 15th work anniversary, Daw Me Me Kyaw shared with us her GBS experience as followed.
It has been 15 incredible years with GBS. I joined GBS in 2005 as a salesperson. Then, I became the Section Head of Branding and Marketing in 2010 and Operation Head in 2013. In 2016, I transferred to GBS Microfinance and became an Executive Director later.
To highlight a memory throughout the journey, it was back when I was doing Market Research around 2011-2012. I discovered that some villages are in need of schools. So, I informed and proposed the management team, and we could help build a school in Kyaung Shar Gone village, Nyaungdon township, Ayeyarwady Region. It is both an honor and a pleasure for us to support education as a CSR activity.
During my time at GBS, we encountered both the 2008 Global Financial Crisis and COVID-19 Pandemic. How we cope with crises has been improved over the years. We are now staying more resilient and making the best possible decisions in line with the circumstances. Despite the situation, we will not give up and always be there for the farmers.
We would love to offer our heartfelt thanks and congratulations to U Kyaw Soe, who is celebrating his 10th work anniversary at Good Brothers’ Group of Companies.
U Kyaw Soe is a reliable and dignified leader of GBS, currently taking the role of Executive Director at KUBOTA GBS Co., Ltd. and ASP KUBOTA. In honor of his 10th anniversary at GBS today, we would like to feature a profound note from U Kyaw Soe.
I am currently in charge of KUBOTA GBS Co., Ltd. and ASP KUBOTA that are the subsidiaries of Good Brothers’ Group of Companies. At the moment, I am mainly overseeing the financial and human resources management of these subsidiaries.
I am honored and delighted to work hand-in-hand with GBS for the development of the farmers and rural communities for the past ten years. I started my career here as a salesperson back in 2010. Six years later, I became one of the shareholders of the company in 2016. Looking back at my GBS journey, it is quite full of memories.
GBS saw the potential in me and inspired me to grow. I never felt such inconvenience with any kind of work that I had once memorized the entire engine catalogue. And honestly, I can still remember well how an engine is built internally. Believe me, this sort of thing helps you figure out a better route through your journey.
